Employee Spotlight: Philip J. Eboli, Vice President

There is a very important reason why one of our core values is “Integrity Above All Else”. As a business, our integrity comes from the work we do every day for our customers. That work is done by our employees who are passionate about providing top-quality ARM services to businesses around the world. This is why we decided to do employee spotlights, to share a rare view into the employees who define the values of our business.

We are starting with Philip J. Eboli, one of the many faces behind NCS Companies. By continuing to read you will learn about how he got his start in the industry, his values, what he loves about the ARM industry, and working at NCS.

Who are you? What is your background?

My name is Philip J. Eboli and I am Vice President and Owner at NCS Companies. NCS is comprised of two separate entities: NCS Commercial Recovery LLC, our traditional 3rd party Accounts Receivable Management firm, and Receivable Asset Management Professionals LLC (RAMP). RAMP is our ready-made team of AR Analysts that provides 1st Party Accounts Receivable Management and Consultation Services.

I am a graduate of the University of Vermont, class of 1996. After a brief career playing professional ice hockey overseas, I started at NCS in 1997 and am entering my 28th year in Accounts Receivable Management. My wife and I have 3 children, ranging in age from 6 to 13. When our kids aren't keeping us busy with their activities, my wife and I enjoy traveling and competing in Ironman triathlon events.

What is your passion?

I always come back to what motivates individuals, and in particular, myself; hope and growth. Knowing I am putting in the work to be the best version of myself, so I can be the best husband, father, family member, friend, and co-worker. I trust that by putting in my best efforts in all that I do consistently, I am not just hoping tomorrow is better than today. I am setting an example for others so they are prepared and in control of what comes next.

What is your greatest trait?

I take a lot of pride in “self”; self-awareness, self-preparedness, and self-evaluation. It's something you have to consistently work on in mind, body, and spirit. Working shoulder to shoulder with my wife, we have a family that counts on us day in and day out. That requires us to be the best version of ourselves consistently. The same applies to extended family, friends, endeavors, and, of course, business.

I have people in business who count on me, and I always take self-inventory to make sure I am the best version of myself. Ensuring that I am supporting employees and clients every day in the way that they need.

What is your favorite part about working in Accounts Receivable Management?

I have always enjoyed being part of a team, and with all we do daily, it takes multiple levels of talented people working in unison to accomplish goals. I love the synergy that occurs within a team when all the individual parties know and trust one another. That same synergy occurs with clients too, and that's the good stuff. When loyalty and trust are the basis for business relationships, that's the “secret sauce”, that is when you know you are making a difference.

What achievement in your time working at NCS are you most proud of?

Just being able to witness our group become a mature trusted source for any business that requires our unique specialized services. Entering year 33 of operations is a great accomplishment in and of itself. I'm proud to relay that to anyone who wants to discuss business. It says a lot about our commitment to service and, when you are in a results-oriented business, it speaks even louder.
